Carly Keyes is a Los Angeles-based acoustic indie-pop singer-songwriter known for intimate, emotionally driven performances. Her stripped-back style and haunting vocal delivery draw listeners into deeply personal stories of love, loss, and longing.

Originally trained in filmmaking, Carly brings a cinematic sensitivity to her music—creating moments that feel both raw and quietly powerful. Whether reinterpreting familiar songs or sharing original work, her performances invite audiences into a space of reflection, connection, and feeling.

About See This Through…

See This Through... is a collection of songs written through longing, heartbreak, memory, hope, and the quiet attempt to keep moving forward after emotional loss.

Recorded in intimate stripped-back arrangements centered around voice and acoustic guitar, my album lives somewhere between late-night confession, journal entry, and living room performance — embracing imperfection, atmosphere, and emotional honesty over polish.

I wrote these songs across different chapters of my life, but together they became a reflection on connection: what lingers after it changes, what echoes long after someone is gone, and what parts of ourselves survive in the aftermath.

Thank you for listening.

Film Projects

I also dabble in screenwriting, acting and composing…

Based on the novel “Sparrow Migrations” by Cari Noga, Pacific Pilgrimage follows an autistic boy as he fights to protect his beloved bird.

My short script was named a semifinalist in the 2026 Blue Cat Screenplay Competition, accepted by the Golden State Film Festival and nominated for Best Unproduced Screenplay by the LA Independent Women Film Awards.

My original music concept was awarded a grant by The Puffin Foundation. I’m currently writing the score as we enter post-production, having wrapped principal photography on June 10th.

Good Vibrations follows an aspiring musician and an ASL poet who team up to write a new song after each has a rough night on-stage at an open mic.

I played Tori (the aspiring musician) and wrote the original music for this entry in the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge.
